The goal for yesterday's walk was 5miles but I made it 4.79 after walking with wet shoes and being startled by a dead cat and a LONG creepy trail at the beginning. Funny how dark clouds can make you feel like you are in the middle of no where even though you have houses right on the other side of the wall from you. I had to walk the long way around on this walk because of flooded washes and I still managed to get my feet wet crossing a small shallow portion of the back community wash near the canal. Not a fun walk but I was still glad to get the miles in. New shoes were purchased today. I found out I have flatter feet and am an overpronator.
